RAF Navigator Claims Sighting of Dinosaur-Like Sea Serpent

Kent-based cryptozoological researcher Neil Arnold recently passed on to Fortean Times, with kind permission from its source to publish it here, a remarkable, previously undocumented sea serpent sighting from the late 1950s. Neil’s source was a correspondent called Nick (whose email address I have on file), and one of the eyewitnesses in question was his father. Nick is anxious that the sighting be preserved, so here is his account of it:

“I am 39 years old with three children and my father is now 72. He was one of the last people to have been conscripted to national service, serving as navigator on RAF Shackleton aircraft in 1957, flying missions over Europe and much of South America. The official job of the Shackleton was as a spotting aircraft, and both pilot and crew were highly trained in this respect; their job was to search for submarines and relay the positions back to base. One of the tell-tale signs they used to look for [from] high above was a dark shape underwater, which could often be a shark or whale or other creature, but occasionally they would get lucky and find a submarine near to the surface. On one occasion, having seen such a dark shape near the surface, they flew down to investigate, and as they flew by this shape, every crew member on board saw the same thing – the neck and head of a large sea creature protruding from the surface. The nearest thing they could think of at the time was a plesiosaur. They were all in agreement but of course the pilot on the way home forbade them absolutely from talking about it; if they had done so they would all have been immediately grounded and accused of being drunk on duty.

“So anyway, my father decided to research what the creature might have been, and found that it was almost definitely an ‘elasmosaurus’ [long-necked plesiosaur], as the one thing that was very obvious was the huge length of the animal’s neck. My father was forced to conclude, and of course he’d read all about the cœlacanth, that there were indeed much larger ‘extinct’ creatures out there, unknown to science. He told me of the incident when I reached adulthood. Twenty years on, he still will swear to his grave that this is what they all saw on the flight…

“The year was 1957, the location was ‘about 500 miles [800km] north of the Canary Islands, in open sea’. The RAF Squadron was 228 Squadron, flying out of St Eval in Cornwall. (This air base has since been closed, but I believe remnants of the site remain.) I don’t know who the other crewmembers were and I have been thinking about making an official enquiry to the RAF archives. However, what I hope is important is the location (vague, sorry), species and date. I am more than aware that most scientists consider the possibility of any large dinosaur [sic] still alive as astronomically small, and my father himself also thinks now with sadness that he might have seen one of the last ones; his own reasoning is that at this point, not so long after the war, there really was not much shipping around; indeed, the area where they had the sighting was entirely devoid of shipping and maybe this was the reason the creature had considered it safe to surface, far from the throb of ships’ propellers.”

One zoologist who read Nick’s account suggested that perhaps they had seen a tentacle from a giant squid rise above the water surface, but Nick’s father emphatically discounted any such possibility. If by any chance any other Shackleton crewmember who saw this creature is reading this item and would like to contact FT, we’d love to hear from you!

Paranormal Group Explores Old Clay County, Florida Jail

A cold January wind blew across the Clay County ground on Saturday night, raising goose bumps on the back of necks, and perhaps sweeping in with it spirits of a forgotten past.

That was the atmosphere at the old Clay County Jail, which is located in the historic triangle of Clay County in Green Cove Springs, and has sat empty for over 30 years now. Passionate ghost hunters from the group Catch Any Paranormal Event dissected the building with hopes of observing a being from another realm.

Walking into the jail, the age of the building truly showed itself. The paint on the walls was peeling, and everyone was warned not to touch it due to the fact that it was lead-based.

The cells were all fairly small, only large enough to house 2-3 inmates in each. They contained fold down beds, and a toilet and sink in each. There were mannequins spread throughout the jail. They were dressed in striped jumpsuits, the common garb seen on prisoners of the time period. Their blank eyes stared back at you, and you felt that every step you took in the ancient corridors was being watched by a presence not of this world.

The jail is two stories, and the staircase that leads to the second floor looked as rickety as a metal staircase could get. Even after being reassured that it had been recently re-welded, but walking up it took courage. You could feel the anxiety of the prisoners of the past, while they were being led to their cells, and perhaps one of them was seeking some mischievous revenge.

The cells on the second floor had the same layout as the ones below, with the exception of some cells that had been added on in the 1920’s. A section of the ceiling had fallen in, leaving plaster all over the floor. Walking up and down the narrow corridor in between the cells created sounds similar to bones cracking.

It took time for the group to get prepared, and anticipation was growing thick in the air. The electricity kept cutting in and out, causing the lights to flicker on and off. It felt as if something was beckoning us in. Then the command was given, and the lights were turned off for good, and the investigation began.

Al and Wanda Thackrah are the ringleaders of Orlando-based C.A.P.E. They have been hunting ghosts for about 20 years.

"Years ago, I used to be a commercial diver on the St. Lawrence Seaway," Al Thackrah said. "I used to go on treasure hunting exhibitions on the St. Lawrence, and with treasure you get the paranormal. That’s how I got started."

C.A.P.E. uses different techniques to see spirits. They set up infrared cameras and audio monitors to catch any images or sounds created by the supernatural. Their members walk around the haunted structure taking flash photos with digital cameras, and using Electromagnetic Field Monitors to detect ghosts.

"E.M.F. monitors are set off by electronic fields, and get interfered with by wiring and cell phones," a team member explained. "So if it goes off in a building with no power flow and no electronics it can show us that there is a presence."

The group is made up of about a dozen members, ranging all ages. The Duco family has been ghost hunting for around two years now. Carlos, his wife Marilyn, and their son Daniel have all had experiences with the paranormal.

"I was touched while on a ghost tour in St. Augustine," said Carlos. "It was a still night, and bug free. I was taking a picture and it felt like a hand brushed my neck, but no one was around. I asked the guide and he told me other people had had the same experience."

His wife Marilyn told about how their son had gotten locked in a garage in a haunted structure while nobody was around. When asked, Daniel refused to talk about the experience.

The group also conducted an investigation at the Little Ruth Church Graveyard, which is located four miles south of Green Cove Springs. The process was the same as in the jail, but the atmosphere was much more tranquil. There were no initial findings, and the dead seemed to be resting peacefully.

The group wrapped up their investigation at the jail around 1:30 a.m., and are still reviewing and debunking the material for utmost accuracy. It will be a week before the group releases any information about the jail and it being haunted or not, but this is to insure utmost accuracy.

The old Clay County jail was erected in 1894, and additions were built in the 1920’s. It is the second oldest jail in the State of Florida. Two known executions were carried out at the jail, one in 1903 and the other in 1924. Gallows were erected where the parking lot is now.

Photo: Strange 'Tumor' Removed From Man's Spine

On January 22nd I had a major operation. They opened a 13 centimer section of my spinal cord and removed a tumour. The doctors say they have never, in thousands of operations, ever seen a tumour like it.

It looks like a salamander and has clearly defined eyes and a tail. I took a picture of it with my cell phone camera.

It may be what was responsible for the weird visions I had of the nature of the universe. Since it was on my spinal cord it was directly attached to my brain.

As I said before, it has what appears to be eyes and a mouth and the doctors reported some hard matter (spine?) in the tail of the creature. It was 8.3 cm long.

I have asked the doctors for hi rez pictures. It has been sent to a lab for testing but results are not expected for 10 days. However, one of the doctors told me the tail seemed to have a bony structure in it. That is not something you would expect to find in a tumour made of nerve cells. Also, you can see what look like eyes. This really is bizzare.

By the way, I feel just fine except for the fact they sawed open my back-bone.

President Eisenhower's 'Close Encounter' at Holloman AFB

by Clark C. McClelland, Former ScO, U.S. Space Shuttle Fleet
KSC, Florida 1958 to 1992

"Shortly after the US Air Force became a separate branch of the service, Alamogordo Air Base became Holloman AFB in honour of Colonel George V. Holloman, a pioneer in Air Force research and development." The old Alamogordo airfield had been a training base for heavy bombers. Then, U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower was landing at Holloman. It was a smooth landing as landings go. The big Lockheed Constellation in passenger service in those days carried over 125 passengers, but there were fewer than twenty aides and secret service men in the main cabin with the crew of fourteen each at his station. At about 7,000 feet into the landing, Major Bill Draper, the pilot, started reversing the engines, and the plane slowed measurably and taxied to the end of the runway.

Air Force One taxied back up the runway about 75 yards and stopped. All engines were shut down. There were probably 300 people with a vantage point, who saw Air Force One land, and as it did, they called others to other windows, work stations and vantage points. It must have seemed very eerie for the president's plane to be seen sitting out there almost a half mile away, alone and quiet.

No red carpet, no band, no honour parade, just a few horned meadowlarks calling in the distance. Eventually, the base workers returned to their stations. And always the question was asked: Is Ike here? What's going on? The civilians and military on the base had been told that while the president was here, this would be a "business as usual" day. A few minutes earlier, Col. Sharp, the base commander, and several officers had gone to the base operations tower to see the president's plane land.

The first communication they heard about 8:10 was "HOLLOMAN TOWER, THIS IS AIR FORCE 7885 TEN MILES EAST OF MARYHILL."

They requested landing instructions, other traffic in the area, and base wind direction. The runway they were assigned was the farthest away from the hangars and workshops. It was obvious to base personnel that what was happening or going to happen was as far away as it could be. Little could be seen unless one had a vantage point and binoculars. Phones all over the base were very busy, many questions were asked, is he still out on the runway?

But about ten minutes after the plane landed the radar officers gave instructions to shut off all radar. He had turned base operations over to his deputy base commander as long as the President was here. He felt it his duty to be with him with no distractions.

There were a dozen visual patrols out around the base and some of the up-range small radars were on. A phone rang in the tower with a report of two unidentified objects passing over Range Road 12. Then a minute later the bogies were over Range Road 7 only a few minutes from the runways. Men in the tower swung their glasses to the north in the morning haze. Then something glinted in the sun, then something else just below it.

A report came in of a third bogie five minutes behind the first two. The tower personnel who did not know what these were, were stunned. No tail, no wings, no motors. Just round objects approaching the president's plane sitting alone on the far runway with a covey of base officers in the tower, including Col. Sharp. They knew something big was up. They reported the objects, logged them and did their job which was "business as usual." The two objects stopped about 300 feet over Air Force One, and one descended on the far side of the plane and gently touched about 200 feet ahead of the plane.

The other hovered briefly and then came across the near runway towards the big hangars and some shop buildings. It took up a position somewhere above the buildings over the tarmac. The disc had a good vantage point of anything that might come towards the president's plane and the disc on the ground. It was with some disbelief that two UFOs had come to Holloman AFB in February of 1955. There was little background for believing in them at all as extraterrestrial. Some who saw or heard about the two craft at the base that day thought they might be new Russian or German innovations.

Soon after the UFO landed in front of Air Force One, a man many assumed to be the President, came to the doorway of the plane, descended the portable stairs and approached the saucer on the ground. Some sort of a hatch had been opened a few minutes before and had folded down to become a small ramp. The man walked up the ramp, stood briefly at the opening, shook hands with someone, and went inside.

Observers thought the period of time to be about 45 minutes. When he emerged from the craft, he walked towards Air Force One. Part of this time he was facing the observers, and most were sure it was Ike. He wore no hat, and many recognized the hairline and his erect military walk.

Video: Artist Believes Marion Davies' Spirit Resides In His Hollywood Studio

Artist Charles Bragg is convinced that starlit Marion Davies' spirit resides in his Hollywood home and studio.

Davies is best remembered for her relationship with newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst. Even during her career, her high-profile social life often obscured her professional career. In her posthumously published memoirs, Davies claimed she wasn't an actress, knew nothing about politics, and described herself as a "silly, giggly idiot," but this is in keeping with her modest, self-deprecating personality.

William Randolph Hearst and Davies lived as a couple for decades but were never married, as Hearst's wife refused to get a divorce. At one point, he reportedly came close to marrying Davies, but decided his wife's settlement demands were too high. Hearst was incredibly jealous and possessive of her, even though he was married throughout their relationship.

Davies was rumored to be the inspiration for the Susan Alexander character portrayed in Orson Welles' Citizen Kane, which was based loosely on Hearst's life. This portrayal has led to various portrayals of Davies as a talentless opportunist, the most recent of which was Melanie Griffith's in HBO's RKO 281.

Welles himself, as stated in his foreword to Davies autobiography The Times We Had, said he deeply regretted that so many assumed Susan Alexander was a carbon copy of Davies, and that the real Davies was a great actress and a wonderful woman. He also claimed that the Susan Alexander character owed as much to the Chicago tycoon Samuel Insull's wife, for whom he built an opera house.

Davies was also portrayed by Virginia Madsen in the telefilm The Hearst and Davies Affair (1985) with Robert Mitchum as Hearst, and Heather McNair in Chaplin (1992). Madsen later became a Davies fan and said that she felt she had inadvertently portrayed her as a stereotype, rather than as a real person.

Many film historians and fans resent the negative reputation Kane garnered her and have worked to restore her image in the public eye. Their efforts included a documentary film Captured on Film: The True Story of Marion Davies (2001), which premiered on Turner Classic Movies and featured appearances by friends and costars.

Kirsten Dunst portrayed Marion Davies in the 2001 movie The Cat's Meow.

Exorcist Summoned to Rid Hospital of Scary Resident

The NHS has long been haunted by the spectre of waiting-lists and tight funding, but is now facing omens of a rather more unsettling kind.

An exorcist has reportedly been summoned to a hospital in Derby after staff saw a ghost prowling the corridors near the morgue.

Managers at the Derby Royal Hospital have received numerous complaints from spooked workers that a figure cloaked in black has been stalking the wards and walking through walls at the site run by the NHS – perhaps to be renamed the National Haunted Service.

In an e-mail to staff, senior manager Debbie Butler reportedly wrote: “I’m not sure how many of you are aware that some members of staff have reported seeing a ghost. I’m taking it seriously as the last thing I want is staff feeling uneasy at work.”

The £334m hospital was erected on the site of the old Derby City General Hospital, which was itself built in the 1920s over the site of an ancient Roman road. That a ghost of a Roman centurion may be stealing quietly through the hospital has understandably unsettled staff.

Ms Butler added: “I don’t want to scare anyone more than necessary, but felt it was best I made you all aware of the situation and what we are doing about it.”

The hospital denied that an official exorcism would be taking place, but a spokeswoman for the Bishop of Derby confirmed that the hospital’s on-site chaplain had contacted the diocese Paranormal Advisor – essentially an exorcist – to assess the situation and reassure spooked staff.

She said: “The sightings will be investigated and appropriate action taken.”

One member of staff said: “Several have seen a male figure cloaked from head to toe in black darting between rooms and through walls – especially in departments near the morgue.”

Dr Rita Pal, who writes for online journal NHS Exposed, said: “The United Kingdom has many hospitals with ghostly stories. Hospitals are, after all, places of where one exits to the ‘other side’. Some ghosts of patients return to haunt their doctors, others simply haunt the wards.”

A spokeswoman for Derby Hospitals NHS Trust said: “We will be talking to staff in the department to listen to their concerns. We respect our staff and always listen to their views to help put minds at ease.”

This is not the first case of a reportedly haunted hospital. Staff at the Barts and Royal London Hospitals NHS Trust, which has stood on the same site since 1123, have long reported seeing the famous Grey Lady haunting the wards - a nurse in old-fashioned uniform who is said to have killed herself after administering a fatal overdose to a patient.

Change: Facing Extinction in Modern America

24. Yellow Pages This year will be pivotal for the global Yellow Pages industry. Much like newspapers, print Yellow Pages will continue to bleed dollars to their various digital counterparts, from Internet Yellow Pages (IYPs), to local search engines and combination search/listing services like Reach Local and Yodle Factors like an acceleration of the print ‘fade rate’ and the looming recession will contribute to the onslaught. One research firm predicts the fall off in usage of newspapers and print. Yellow Pages could even reach 10% this year — much higher than the 2%-3% fade rate seen in past years.

23. Classified Ads The Internet has made so many things obsolete that newspaper classified ads might sound like just another trivial item on a long list. But this is one of those harbingers of the future that could signal the end of civilization as we know it. The argument is that if newspaper classifieds are replaced by free online listings at sites like and Google Base, then=2 0newspapers are not far behind them.

22. Movie Rental Stores While Netflix is looking up at the moment, Blockbuster keeps closing store locations by the hundreds. It still has about 6,000 left across the world, but those keep dwindling and the stock is down considerably in 2008, especially since the company gave up a quest of Circuit City . Movie Gallery, which owned the Hollywood Video brand, closed up shop earlier this year. Countless small video chains and mom-and-pop stores have given up the ghost already.

21. Dial-up Internet Access Dial-up connections have fallen from 40% in 2001 to 10% in 2008. The combination of an infrastructure to accommodate affordable high speed Internet connections and the disappearing home phone have all but pounded the final nail in the coffin of dial-up Internet access.

20. Phone Landlines According to a survey from the National Center for Health Statistics, at the end of 2007, nearly one in six homes was cell-only and, of those homes that had landlines, one in eight only received calls on their cells.

19. Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs Maryland ’s icon, the blue crab, has been fading away in Chesapeake Bay. Last year Maryland saw the lowest harvest (22 million pounds) since 1945. Just four decades ago the bay produced 96 million pounds. Th e population is down 70% since 1990, when they first did a formal count. There are only about 120 million crabs in the bay and they think they need 200 million for a sustainable population. Overfishing, pollution, invasive species and global warming get the blame.

18. VCRs For the better part of three decades, the VCR was a best-seller and staple in every American household until being completely decimated by the DVD, and now the Digital Video Recorder (DVR). In fact, the only remnants of the VHS age at your local Wal-Mart or Radio Shack are blank VHS tapes these days. Pre-recorded VHS tapes are largely gone and VHS decks are practically nowhere to be found. They served us so well.

17. Ash Trees In the late 1990s, a pretty, irridescent green species of beetle, now known as the emerald ash borer, hitched a ride to North America with ash wood products imported from eastern Asia . In less than a decade, its larvae have killed millions of trees in the midwest, and continue to spread. They’ve killed more than 30 million ash trees in southeastern Michigan alone, with tens of millions more lost in Ohio and Indiana . More than 7.5 billion ash trees are currently at risk.

16. Ham Radio Amateur radio operators enjoy personal (and often worldwide) wireless communications with each other and are able to support their communities with emergency and disaster communi cations if necessary, while increasing their personal knowledge of electronics and radio theory. However, proliferation of the Internet and its popularity among youth has caused the decline of amateur radio. In the past five years alone, the number of people holding active ham radio licenses has dropped by 50,000, even though Morse Code is no longer a requirement.

15. The Swimming Hole Thanks to our litigious society, swimming holes are becoming a thing of the past. ‘20/20′ reports that swimming hole owners, like Robert Every in High Falls, N.Y., are shutting them down out of worry that if someone gets hurt they’ll sue. And that’s exactly what happened in Seattle . The city of Bellingham was sued by Katie Hofstetter who was paralyzed in a fall at a popular swimming hole in Whatcom Falls Park . As injuries occur and lawsuits follow, expect more swimming holes to post ‘Keep out!’ signs.

14. Answering Machines The increasing disappearance of answering machines is directly tied to No 20 our list — the decline of landlines. According to USA Today, the number of homes that only use cell phones jumped 159% between 2004 and 2007. It has been particularly bad in New York ; since 2000, landline usage has dropped 55% It’s logical that as cell phones rise, many of them replacing traditional landlines, that there will be fewer answering machines.

13. Cameras That Use Film It doesn’t require a statistician to prove the rapid disappearance of the film camera in America . Just look to companies like Nikon, the professional’s choice for quality camera equipment. In 2006, it announced that it would stop making film cameras, pointing to the shrinking market — only 3% of its sales in 2005, compared to 75% of sales from digital cameras and equipment.

12. Incandescent Bulbs Before a few years ago, the standard 60-watt (or, yikes, 100-watt) bulb was the mainstay of every U.S. home. With the green movement and all-things-sustainable-energy crowd, the Compact Fluorescent Lightbulb (CFL) is largely replacing the older, Edison-era incandescent bulb. The EPA reports that 2007 sales for Energy Star CFLs nearly doubled from 2006, and these sales accounted for approximately 20 percent of the U.S. light bulb market. And according to USA Today, a new energy bill plans to phase out incandescent bulbs in the next four to 12 years.

11. Stand-Alone Bowling Alleys BowlingBalls.US claims there are still 60 million Americans who bowl at least once a year, but many are not bowling in stand-alone bowling alleys. Today most new bowling alleys are part of facilities for all types or recreation includ ing laser tag, go-karts, bumper cars, video game arcades, climbing walls and glow miniature golf. Bowling lanes also have been added to many non-traditional venues such as adult communities, hotels and resorts, and gambling casinos.

10. The Milkman According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, in 1950, over half of the milk delivered was to the home in quart bottles, by 1963, it was about a third and by 2001, it represented only 0.4% percent. Nowadays most milk is sold through supermarkets in gallon jugs. The steady decline in home-delivered milk is blamed, of course, on the rise of the supermarket, better home refrigeration and longer-lasting milk. Although some milkmen still make the rounds in pockets of the U.S , they are certainly a dying breed.

9. Hand-Written Letters In 2006, the Radicati Group estimated that, worldwide, 183 billion e-mails were sent each day. Two million each second. By November of 2007, an estimated 3.3 billion Earthlings owned cell phones, and 80% of the world’s population had access to cell phone coverage. In 2004, half-a-trillion text messages were sent, and the number has no doubt increased exponentially since then. So where amongst this gorge of gabble is there room for the elegant, polite hand-written letter?

8. Wild Horses It is estimated that 100 years ago, as many as two million horses were roaming free within the United States . In 2001, National Geographic News estimated that the wild horse population had decreased to about 50,000 head. Currently, the National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory board states that there are 32,000 free roaming horses in ten Western states, with half of them residing in Nevada . The Bureau of Land Management is seeking to reduce the total number of free range horses to 27,000, possibly by selective euthanasia.

7. Personal Checks According to an American Bankers Assoc. report, a net 23% of consumers plan to decrease their use of checks over the next two years, while a net 14% plan to increase their use of PIN debit. Bill payment remains the last stronghold of paper-based payments — for the time being. Checks continue to be the most commonly used bill payment method, with 71% of consumers paying at least one recurring bill per month by writing a check. However, on a bill-by-bill basis, checks account for only 49% of consumers’ recurring bill payments (down from 72% in 2001 and 60% in 2003).

6. Drive-in Theaters During the peak in 1958, there were more than 4,000 drive-in theaters in this country, but in 2007 only 405 drive-ins were still operating. Exactly zero new drive-ins have been built since 2005. Only one reopened in 2005 and five reopened in 2006, so there isn’t much of a movement toward reviving the closed ones.

5. Mumps & Measles Despite what’s been in the news lately, the measles and mumps actually, truly are disappearing from the United States . In 1964, 212,000 cases of mumps were reported in the U.S. By 1983, this figure had dropped to 3,000, thanks to a vigorous vaccination program. Prior to the introduction of the measles vaccine, approximately half a million cases of measles were reported in the U.S. annually, resulting in 450 deaths. In 2005, only 66 cases were recorded.

4. Honey Bees Perhaps nothing on our list of disappearing America is so dire; plummeting so enormously; and so necessary to the survival of our food supply as the honey bee. Very scary. ‘Colony Collapse Disorder,’ or CCD, has spread throughout the U.S and Europe over the past few years, wiping out 50% to 90% of the c olonies of many beekeepers — and along with it, their livelihood

3. News Magazines and TV News While the TV evening newscasts haven’t gone anywhere over the last several decades, their audiences have. In 1984, in a story about the diminishing returns of the evening news, the New York Times reported that all three network evening-news programs combined had only 40.9 million viewers. Fast forward to 2008, and what they have today is half that.

2. Analog TV According to the Consumer Electronics Association, 85% of homes in the U.S. get their television programming20through cable or satellite providers. For the remaining 15% — or 13 million individuals — who are using rabbit ears or a large outdoor antenna to get their local stations, change is in the air. If you are one of these people you’l l need to get a new TV or a converter box in order to get the new stations which will only be broadcast in digital.

1. The Family Farm Since the 1930s, the number of family farms has been declining rapidly. According to the USDA, 5.3 million farms dotted the nation in 1950, but this number had declined to 2.1 million by the 2003 farm census (data from the 2007 census hasn’t yet been published). Ninety-one percent of the U.S.farms are small family farms.

Beware! Texas Motorists - Caution! Zombies! Ahead!!!

Drivers have being warned to watch out for zombies – by official roadside signs.

Motorists on the busy road in Austin, Texas, were met with electronic warning signs telling them: "CAUTION! ZOMBIES! AHEAD!!!"

Seconds later they were advised to 'RUN FOR COLD CLIMATES' and that 'THE END IS NEAR!!!!!'

Another flashing sign, which is usually used to alert drivers to roadside construction on North Lamar boulevard, had an even more specific warning: "NAZI ZOMBIES! RUN!!!"

After 3 Phone Calls and 2 Days, Detroit City Services Finally Retrieve Frozen Body

It took three calls to Detroit authorities over two days before they recovered the body of a man frozen in ice in the elevator shaft of a vacant warehouse, a newspaper reported Thursday.

A reporter for The Detroit News said it got a tip and found the body Tuesday in a former Detroit Public Schools warehouse.

The reporter called emergency services Tuesday and told a female operator about the body, the newspaper said. It said a man returned the call to the newsroom about 20 minutes later and said the body would be retrieved.

But the next day, the News said the body was still trapped in the ice. The reporter made two more calls to the emergency services, one of which was disconnected, and a fire department employee arranged to meet the reporter and to get the body, the paper said.

Authorities used saws to extricate the body Wednesday afternoon, the Detroit Free Press and WDIV-TV said. Investigators said they think the body was there for several months. The man's name and the cause of his death were unknown.

Hoard of 1,300-Year-Old Gold Coins Uncovered in Wall Around Jerusalem

A hoard of more than 250 gold coins -- believed to be 1,300-year-old Chanukah money -- was exposed December 11 in Jerusalem as part of excavations that the Israel Antiquities Authority is conducting in the Giv ‘ati car park in the City of David, in the walls around Jerusalem National Park.

The excavations at the site are being carried out on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, in cooperation with the Nature and Parks Authority and are underwritten by the ‘Ir David Foundation.

“This is one of the largest and most impressive coin hoards ever discovered in Jerusalem – certainly the largest and most important of its period,” archaeologists said.

Since the archaeological excavations began there about two years ago, they have yielded surprising discoveries that shed new light on different chapters of the city’s past. Currently a very large and impressive building is being uncovered that dates to about the seventh century CE (end of the Byzantine period-beginning of the Umayyad period). A large cache of 264 coins, all made of gold, was discovered among the ruins of the building.

According to Dr. Doron Ben-Ami and Yana Tchekhanovets, directors of the excavation at the site on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority, “Since no pottery vessel was discovered adjacent to the hoard, we can assume that it was concealed inside a hidden niche in one of the walls of the building. It seems that with its collapse, the coins piled up there among the building debris.”

The archaeologists noted that, for comparison’s sake, the only hoard of gold coins from the Byzantine period discovered to date in Jerusalem consisted of only five gold coins. All of the coins bear the likeness of the emperor Heraclius (610-641 CE). Different coins were minted during this emperor’s reign; however, all of the coins that were discovered in the City of David in Jerusalem belong to one well-known type in which the likeness of the emperor wearing military garb and holding a cross in his right hand is depicted on the obverse, while the sign of the cross is on the reverse. These coins were minted at the beginning of Heraclius’ reign (between the years 610-613 CE), one year before the Persians conquered Byzantine Jerusalem (614 CE).

From the moment that the first coin was exposed, it stood out against the background of its surroundings. The excavators continued to discover many more dozens of gold coins alongside it. These were resting on the ground, in one place where they fell, and were buried there more than 1,300 years ago.

Although gold is not among the ordinary discoveries in archaeological excavations, not long ago a surprisingly well preserved gold earring, inlaid with pearls and precious stones, was discovered at this site.

What is the building where this very valuable cache was hidden and who was its owner? What were the circumstances of its destruction which did not permit the coins’ owner to collect them? Should the building’s destruction be dated to the time of the hoard?

The excavation of the large building in which the hoard was discovered is still in its early stages and the archaeologists hope that they will soon collect further data that will enable them to answer these questions.

Recent Interview: Travis Walton Alien Abduction - UFO Congress - Laughlin, Nevada

Travis Walton was with some logger buddies when they came across a strange craft in the forest. Walton approached it and was thrown into the air by some force from the craft. His friends panicked and drove away.

They came back to find him, but Walton and the UFO were no where to be found. The event was well documented and is one of the best cases for the evidence of the phenomena.

A hit movie titled "Fire in the Sky" was made based on this event. In this interview Travis discusses what he experienced apparently aboard a spaceship.

This was part of my TV show, Phenomena Television, and was filmed at the UFO Congress in Laughlin, Nevada.

The Abduction

On November 5th, 1975, one of the more persistently controversial UFO events in history took place in northeastern Arizona. A work team consisting of seven individuals reported encountering a reflective, luminous object the shape of a flattened disc hovering close to their truck on a remote dirt road in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. According to the crew, one of their members, Travis Walton, exited the truck and approached the object on foot, at which time he was allegedly struck by a brilliant bluish light or flash and hurled to the ground some distance away. In fear, the other crew members fled the scene, returning after a short period of time to find no trace of the UFO, or of Walton.

The driver of the truck was Mike Rogers, the crew foreman and a personal friend of Walton's. While fleeing the scene, Rogers reported looking back and seeing a luminous object lift out of the forest and speed rapidly toward the horizon. He, along with the other five witnesses, would eventually be subjected to polygraph (lie detection) examinations regarding the event, the successful outcomes of which catapulted the case into the national spotlight.

Walton turned up five days later, confused and distraught but with fleeting memories of alien and exotic human entities. He was also subsequently subjected to a number of controversial polygraph examinations.

As the first seriously investigated UFO event to involve the disappearance of an individual in conjunction with a UFO sighting, the Walton incident put the honesty of UFO claimants, as well as the validity of lie detection evidence, squarely in the spotlight. A total of thirteen polygraph examinations have been conducted in association with the case, tests which have been the subject of considerable discussion and acrimonious debate.

Selma, Alabama Landmark's Paranormal History Explored

After more than 150 years, there are bound to be a few things lingering inside the Vaughan Smitherman Museum other than cobwebs and dust.

Over the years, employees reported hearing footsteps on the stairs and toilets flushing at odd hours.

Southern Paranormal Researchers stepped in to get to the bottom of the bumps and scrapes that echoed throughout the brick building at the end of Alabama Avenue.

“You almost did feel the presence of someone up there,” said Shawn Sellers, director of Southern Paranormal Researchers.

The Vaughan Smitherman Museum was built in 1847 by a group of Masons. Through the years, the building served as a Confederate hospital, the Dallas County Courthouse, a Presbyterian high school for boys and again as a hospital until the city bought it in 1968.

Sellers, who is also an insurance adjuster, first saw the building when he worked a claim at the museum. A tour guide began telling him about its history, and the self-described history buff was hooked.

“As I walked through, it was just a place that stuck in my mind that I always wanted to have the opportunity to go back and have a chance for my team and I to investigate,” Sellers said.

Last November, Sellers brought his team to Selma and invited Arts Revive treasurer Cindy Stoudenmire to join them. The group brought along digital cameras and voice recorders, video cameras, electro-magnetic field detectors and thermometers to aid the investigation. Stoudenmire, who is also a tour guide at the museum, said it was a thrill to participate in a ghost hunt after hearing so many ghost stories growing up in Selma.

“We all grew up hearing about ghost stories,” Stoudenmire said. “You hear people have a ghost in their house. They’ll tell you they do. It’s almost matter of fact.”

While Southern Paranormal Researchers did not find enough hard evidence to confirm resident paranormal activity, Stoudenmire said it was interesting just to see how all the equipment worked. She saw a compass needle spin like a top on the third floor, and an EMF detector flash on and off several times after a team member asked certain questions during the three hours of research. Not too many people can make that claim.

“It was a little convincing,” Stoudenmire said. “Although, the report dismissed it.”

In his report, Sellers concluded, “there does seem to be some activity there, but it is most likely not a resident intelligent spirit.” He said this is common in buildings as old the Vaughan Smitherman Museum. Often, it takes more than one visit to truly get to the bottom of things.

“A lot of these historical places have a lot of residual energy,” Sellers said. “There’s a lot of places that you have to go through and investigate more than one time.”

Beijo Do Seu Cachorrinho

Photos: Strange Tentacled UFO - Soquel, CA - January 27, 2009

Statement: Jan 27th 2009, Soquel,Ca. We were working here and I was on my lunch break, when I hear my father calling my name and saying, "whats that in the sky?!" I didn't think it was going to be what I saw. I got out of my truck and looked into the sky. There is was, a metallic object.

It moved slowly across the sky, but the arms of it rotated and moved without sync. It looked like octopus arms, individually moving in different directions. The object continued to move across the sky until it was no longer visible. This object was extremely far up in the sky. I believe I saw a UFO.

Mysterious Creatures and UFO Sightings Reported in Pennsylvania 2008

During 2008, there were numerous reports of UFO sightings and other strange incidents reported from across the Keystone state. Reports of unusual incidents originated from 50 counties in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. That is an increase over 2007, when such reports were received from 37 counties. Some of the strange incidents reported included sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects, strange sky illuminations, Bigfoot, giant birds, mountain lions, strange sounds and mysterious footprints.

An example of some of the more interesting 2008 mysterious events from Pennsylvania.

Giant Bird Sightings

There has been a history from Pennsylvania and other states of sightings of giant birds with enormous wingspans that are occasionally reported, and are commonly referred to as “thunderbirds.” In recent years, the reports of these huge flying creatures have increased. Rick Fisher of the Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania received a report which occurred in February at a rural location outside of Harrisburg. The driver of a vehicle, who was also an active hunter, saw a huge bird-like creature drop from the trees and approach his vehicle. The man stopped and got out to take a better look at the creature, which seemed to soar or glide without flapping its wings. He hesitantly told Rick that what he saw looked, “prehistoric almost.”

Researcher Jim Brown investigated an incident which occurred on the afternoon of May 20, on a major roadway in Washington County. Motorists reportedly pulled off the road to watch as a huge dark colored flying creature that looked more like a giant bat than a bird, circled low, and passed over some cars. One witness noticed that the wingspan extended beyond the edges of the two lane highway. One man was seen taking pictures of the giant flying creature. That person has never come forward.

Bigfoot Sightings

Over the years, there have been hundreds of sightings of huge hair covered man-like or sometimes more ape-like creatures reported statewide. A very active area is along the Chestnut Ridge in Westmoreland, Fayette, and Indiana counties. While such sightings are reportedly yearly, the number of such reports have dropped in recent years.

The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society (PBS) received a report from Warren County in May that a woman had seen such a creature climb up her lattice and onto her back deck. She watched it from her patio door as it climbed over the railing and departed. In August, from rural Warren County, I received a report that a man and his son observed a 7 foot tall, hair covered creature with very long swinging arms cross a roadway with very long steps and enter a wooded area.

I also received reports of strange screaming sounds coming from along the Chestnut Ridge near Latrobe. An experienced woodsman came across 18 inch long, five toed footprints, unlike anything he had ever seen before, while hiking in the Forbes State Forest above Rector on August 22.

UFO Sightings

While there was a lot of UFO activity reported from the eastern portions of the state, many UFO sightings were reported in western Pennsylvania and elsewhere. While spherical, and disc shaped objects were reported, as well as formations of luminous objects, there were numerous triangular shaped objects sighted as well.

On July 2, near Connellsville, witnesses observed a triangular shaped object with a curved bottom and numerous lights. The silent object passed overhead and moved toward the Yough River. During the early morning hours of August 12, in a rural area between Greensburg and Youngwood, a witness observed what was described as, “two huge double headlights,” side by side, and slightly yellow in color, hovering low just above the road. The silent lights rose up from the ground and moved off over the trees.

I received several independent UFO sighting reports from Westmoreland and Allegheny Counties on September 5. About 12:30 a.m. a glowing round white object with various colored lights was observed hovering in the western sky from New Stanton. The object suddenly disappeared from sight after a few minutes. Soon after, a second object shaped like a glowing football moved rather fast across the sky, then suddenly stopped, then dropped lower toward the ground. With binoculars, the object appeared round with evenly spaced lights.

Another report was received which had occurred at nearly the same time. A motorist driving near South Park in Allegheny County watched as what appeared to be a large lighted object passed over him at an altitude of about 100 feet. His attention was first drawn to a series of bright white lights that were non-blinking and about 3 feet in diameter that were attached to the object. The driver lowered his window and heard no sound. The object made a sharp bank and rose up over the trees and moved off. That same morning, a slow moving silent orange sphere of light was observed at about 3 a.m. near Jeannette as it moved across the sky, then suddenly vanished.

It was during the early morning hours of October 4, that two hunters in Elk County encountered something unusual. As they moved into a wooded area, they first noticed two baseball sized glowing lights about 15 feet above the ground. Soon they noticed multiple beams of light which seemed to originate from about 10 feet from above the ground, and projected parallel with the ground.

Their attention, however, was drawn to a glowing human-like form, which was estimated to be about 3 feet tall. The color was described as a light green, lime color, and it had arms that hung straight down, and were longer than that of a human. The movement of the being gave the impression that it was gliding. On that same date at about 8:20 p.m., in nearby Tioga County, witnesses observed a silent bright solid cigar shaped object approaching from the north, and it suddenly faded out and vanished as it moved overhead.

This year will mark 50 years that I have been investigating and logging such strange accounts from Pennsylvania. My interest in mysterious happenings started at age 10 in 1959. I began conducting on scene investigations of such matters after the Kecksburg UFO incident in 1965. I started taking phone calls from the public in 1969, from those wanting to report alleged UFO sightings. In 1970, I founded the Westmoreland County UFO Study Group, the first of three volunteer, scientifically oriented research groups that remained active for many years, and which investigated UFO sightings and Bigfoot encounters, as well as other strange events around the state.

Today I continue to investigate and document current reports of such matters as an independent researcher. I am still receiving information about that event, and continue my investigation into this UFO incident which has gained international interest.

I receive anomaly sighting reports from the public via my UFO Hotline at 724-838-7768. I also receive e-mail sighting reports at For update information visit my web site: I also maintain contact with numerous researchers and organizations in the state and from throughout the country and elsewhere. The National UFO Reporting Center in Washington state, and the PA Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network also receive numerous UFO reports. Roger Marsh also provides current sighting information at: The Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society continues to receive alleged sightings of Bigfoot encounters as well.

When I first began investigating UFO sightings and other strange reports, I found that while many sightings reported seemed initially odd, many were determined to be natural or man-made in origin. Many UFO sightings, for example, can be explained as bright planets and stars, meteors and searchlight beams. Some Bigfoot observations were determined to be large dogs or bear. In recent months, many UFO reports that I received of a very bright light low in the southwestern sky was determined to be the planet Venus. But not all mysterious sightings can be explained away so easily.

Governor Whitcomb's 'Haunted' Book Locked Away From Public

On a crystal clear night with outside temperatures hovering around 10 degrees, a group of investigators from Hoosier State Paranormal were carrying heavy electronic equipment across the DePauw Quadrangle. They entered the Roy West Library and headed up to the second floor where a very special book is locked away in the Archives and Special Collections area.

It is part of Governor James Whitcomb's collection that was donated to Asbury (now DePauw) University in the early 1800s. Included in the collection is one book purported to be haunted. Titled, "The Poems of Ossian, The Son of Fingal," it is kept locked away in a special section of the library closed to the public.

For years a story has circulated about a boy who borrowed this book from the library in the 1800s. He became so engrossed reading it that when the library closed he snuck the book out of the library and took it to his room.

It was after midnight when he finished reading and turned out the lights. Later, he woke with a sense of not being alone.

When his eyes became adjusted to the darkness he saw a spectral finger pointing accusingly. Then he heard a voice speaking, "Who stole Ossian?"

A bony hand reached toward the boy, who swore he felt a finger touch his cheek. The boy returned the book first thing in the morning, telling the librarian he'd been visited by the ghost of Governor Whitcomb and promising he'd never take another restricted book out of the library.

On this night the group of paranormal investigators planned to find out if there was any chance that the Governor was guarding his book.

Chris Lien, founder of Hoosier State Paranormal, persuaded Wesley Wilson, Coordinator of Archives and Special Collections at the library, to allow the group to come in to search for the ghost of Governor Whitcomb in the presence of the book.

They were given one hour after the library closed.

Lien says he talked to numerous people who have seen shadows or had odd events occur when they were on the second floor of the library where Whitcomb's book is housed.

Interestingly, Wilson says he has found no documentation of the ghost story before the 1990s.

"I don't know that it means anything. I just have never found anything to document the story before the 1990s," he told the Banner Graphic.

Armed with infrared cameras and thermometers, mini-digital video and audio recorders and EMF detectors, the group hurriedly set up its equipment.

The lights went out and three of the investigators entered the Archive room. The others remained outside to monitor the recording equipment.

Within a few minutes, a flash of light slid down the computer screen at the end of the table where the book sat.

"Mark that time down," said Nate Lien, who is the audio tech for the group.

Paranormal investigators carefully go back through their audio and video recordings after an investigation.

At one point, they caught temperatures spiking over 15 degrees above their baseline. They ran their thermometers over and over and continued to read the fluctuation.

The temperature fluctuations were not by the Governor's book, but in a back office where a chair built in 1901 by inmates at the Indiana Reformatory sat.

They shot video and used special recorders to try and pick up any voices that can't be heard by the human ear.

The hour passed quickly with the group moving about the room and around the book while asking the Governor to talk to them.

Apparently, they got their wish. Two EVPs were recorded during the investigation.

"Where are you, Mr. Governor?" asked one of the investigators.

"It sounds like a man says 'I've been dead,'" said Chris Lien in a follow-up call to the Banner Graphic.

The second one says, "I'll be back."

Lien says he was extremely excited when he found out they had two EVPs. Both are available on the group's Web site

The Hoosier State Paranormal group began in November last year. It is made up of 13 members and includes local residents, several DePauw University students and Putnam County Operation Life Emergency Medical Technicians including Matthew Nance and Megan Soultz, who gained local notoriety after participating in the rescue efforts of the jet that crashed into the Hudson River recently.

Soultz is the case manager for the group and Nance is an investigator. Other members include founder Chris Lein, Savahanna Wise, researcher, Daniel Hendry, video technician and Nate Lein, audio technician. Also investigators Stephen Wise, Tyler Binion, Mitch Troyer, Gary Crowe, Josh Drake, Justin Woodall, and Sam Jacks.

When asked what got them interested in investigation paranormal activity, Chris Lein explained, "We watched TAPs (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) on television since 2004. We were all interested in what they did and it made us want to try investigating."

TAPS is a one-hour weekly reality show that follows a group of real-life paranormal researchers as it investigates hauntings throughout the country.

Hoosier State Paranormal also investigated a haunted house in South Bend last weekend where the owners have seen black shadows and heard a little girl crying. The results of that investigation should be available on their Web site at

Just in case you were wondering, Governor Whitcomb's book is back in its case, safely locked away out of the public view. As for the ghost of Governor Whitcomb, he did say he would be back.

Bart Simpson Shilling For Scientology

Hey man, this is Bart Simpson, there’s aliens flying DC-9s into volcanoes. Give me all your money.

OK, so it doesn’t go exactly like that, but the voice of Bart Simpson Nancy Cartwright (a noted Xenu disciple) is heading a robo-call campaign for Scientology, delivered in Bart’s voice.

Says Bart: “I’m now auditing on New OTVII…I’ll share my many wins…”It’s gonna be a blast, man!

Here’s Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson promoting Scientology.

Indian Girl Marries Dog in Bizarre Ritual

In India's eastern Jharkhand, villagers 'married' off a young girl to a stray dog to ward off an evil spirit.

The locals at Munda Dhanda village performed the ceremony as they believe it will overcome any curse that might fall on the family

Interestingly, the girl is free to get married later in life to a man without even seeking a divorce.

Superstitions are widespread in India, especially in rural areas where literacy is scarce.

Blowfish Testicles Poison Seven Diners in Japanese Restaurant

Seven diners in northern Japan fell ill and three were still in hospital today after eating blowfish testicles prepared in a restaurant not authorised to serve the poisonous delicacy.

The owner of the restaurant in Tsuruoka city, who is also the chef, had no licence to serve blowfish and was being questioned on suspicion of professional negligence, police official Yoshihito Iwase said.

Iwase said the seven men ordered sashimi and grilled blowfish testicles at the restaurant last night.

Shortly after, they developed limb paralysis and breathing trouble and started to lose consciousness – typical signs of blowfish poisoning – and were rushed to a hospital for treatment.

A 68-year-old diner was in a critical condition with respiratory failure and two others, aged 55 and 69, were in serious condition, Iwase said.

"It's scary. If you go to a decent-looking restaurant that serves fugu, you would assume a cook has a proper fugu license," Iwase said, using the Japanese term for blowfish.

Blowfish poison, called tetrodotoxin, is nearly 100 times more poisonous than potassium cyanide, according to the Ishikawa health service association. Eating it can cause death within an hour and a half.

Three people died and 44 others became ill from blowfish poisoning in Japan in 2007 – most of them after catching the fish and cooking it at home, according to the health ministry.

Medium Claims Highwayman's Spirit Pleads Innocence

A medium who claims her family was stalked by the ghost of a notorious highwayman says the outlaw asked for his name to be cleared as his immortal soul was finally laid to rest.

Bill Saunders was part of Dick Turpin’s Gregory Gang which terrorised travellers through Epping Forest during the early 18th century before being executed for his crimes.

The Coughlan family, of Roding Lane North, Woodford Bridge, took the supposed stalking so seriously they called in exorcists.

Helen Coughlan insists the ghost claims he was an innocent party in the gang murder and so has refused to pass over to the other side while known as a killer.

Mrs Coughlan said she was delighted to help what she believes is a tortured soul finally leave her family home.

She said: “There was a stench of rotting flesh whenever he was close as, while highwaymen were buried in consecrated ground, murderers were hung and their corpses allowed to decompose until they were nothing but bone.

“He spoke to me and said that he had been staying around the place as he didn’t want to cross over as a murderer as he was innocent of the crime.

“Now I can go to my brother Matthew’s room and it’s warm when before it would always be icy even if you turned on all the radiators and plug-in heaters.

“We performed an exorcism which involves the last rites so now his soul has been commended to God and he seems feels a lot freer now.”

Epping Forest historian Peter Lawrence told the Guardian that Saunders was captured after a raid on a farm with other members of the Gregory Gang.

He added: “Saunders was hanged at Tyburn - where Marble Arch is today - and then hung in chains in Edgware where his most heinous crimes were committed.”

Rev Spencer Hayward performed the exorcism with his wife Janet.

He said: “We use traditional methods of prayer with bibles and candles. Hopefully we managed to clear whatever the entity was and he will be at rest now.”

Photos: Trail Cam 'Unexplained Lights'

These trailcam pics were submitted by a reader, Mohunter. Here is some of the commentary: The new pic I just captured this past deer season. It has three deer in it, all looking at the camera at the same time, which is unusual. Deer don't usually all look in the same direction at the same time, some will have their heads down, or turned to one side or the other. Above the deer's heads in the middle, top, right of the pic you can see two red lights glowing. That's right, they are glowing, meaning that they are illuminated and reflecting a red glow on the leaves around them. You can see it when you zoom in on the pic. So, it's not a reflection off the inside of the camera lens.

There aren't any roads, trails, atv or otherwise, anywhere near where these pics were taken. I've already ruled that out. It's in the middle of the woods on our property, and there isn't any way possible for it to be an airplane or anything like that. Too many trees. It's just one of those pics that keeps you wondering, and realizing that there are things that we just can't explain. If only deer could talk? I bet they could tell us alot.

Any theories?

Antes tinha conferido a ficção A Bolha (The Blob, 1959), com Steve McQueen.

+1 p/ o elenco (fora Penélope) e -1 p/ o roteirista e diretor.

UFO / OVNI Emits 'Rays' Over Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina

Statement: A video shows a UFO that fires rays over Rosario. It was recorded in late 2007 by a young man who exited the Alto Rosario Shopping Center and was made known by a prestigious researcher from Victoria. The expert stated that similar phenomena had been seen in Germany and England.

The video shows a light in the sky that releases flashes against the ground every so often. “I recorded it with a friend’s cellphone in Rosario, outside the Alto Rosario Shopping Center. The object made slow movements at first, beyond my unsteady hold of the cellphone. But when I saw the video in detail, I saw that the strange light, which several people took for a satellite, was flashing lights toward the ground. I calculate that the light was some 200 meters away, not very far. After recording it for a long time, it began moving toward the Monument to the Flag until it vanished. Personally, it was fantastic. Something that I discuss and people won’t believe. In short, the subject is that the same light, or a similar one, was seen again late at night later that week.”

This was the note that accompanied the video, sent to Silvia Perez Simondini, a renowned UFO researcher who works in the city of Victoria, Entre Rios.

The recording was made on December 7, 2007 and Perez Simondini received only a few days ago, when the young man who took it learned of the existence of Vision Ovni, the center with which she works.“We were aware that these UFOs fire rays against the ground. It had occurred in Germany and England. Therefore, when he sent me the recording, I couldn’t believe it. It’s different to what we’re used to seeing. They’re laser-type beams. The boy managed to film five such beams,” said the researcher to the Diez Puntos Radio Program on Radio 2.Perez Simondini maintained that specialist Salvatore Carta, whose expertise is sought by researchers world-round, certified the authenticity of the phenomenon. The researcher added that the increase in phenomena of this sort is remarkable, adding that she has received 50 UFO reports in January of this year alone.
